Itinerary:
Day 1: Tokyo
Upon arrival at New Tokyo International Airport, JTB staff will meet you at the custom’s exit and assist you in boarding airport bus. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation in Tokyo for 2 nights.
Day 2: Tokyo
Tokyo Morning city tour, visiting Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arcade and Tasaki Pearl Gallery. Afternoon free.
Day 3: Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone - Kyoto
Travel by deluxe coach halfway up Japan's highest mountain, Mt Fuji, to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani Valley and then a ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi. In the evening, take the Shinkansen to Kyoto, where you will stay for 2 nights.
Day 4: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Morning sightseeing of Kyoto, visiting Golden Pavilion, Nijo Castle and Kyoto Imperial Palace. Lunch at Kyoto Handicraft Centre. In the afternoon travel to Nara, visiting Todaiji Temple housing Great Buddha, colourful Kasuga Shrine, with 3,000 lanterns, and Nara Deer Park where many tame deer are freely roaming, before returning to Kyoto.
Day 5: Kyoto - Kansai Airport
Free until departure. Transfer to Kansai Airport by mini van.
