FETYO-CHERRY - Cherry Blossom 2009 Tour
April is the best time to see cherry blossoms around Japan. The gardens abound with many varieties of flowering trees and are usually filled with families enjoying a picnic under the falling petals.
On this tour, we will take you to famous landscape gardens plus others, not so well known. You will visit Fuji Hakone National Park, Yokohama, Kamakura, Kyoto, Nara, Himeji, Toba, Matsue, Takamatsu and Okayama. Exquisite gardens to be visited include Hamarikyu, Rikugien, Sankeien, Adachi, Korakuen, Ritsurin, Ryoanji, Kinkakuji and Ginkakuji, as well as castles, parks and cityscapes famous for their flowering cherry trees.
This exclusive tour is fully escorted by Ken Osetroff and Mayumi Gray, who have been creating and leading tours to Japan for more years than they like to admit! They have personal knowledge of Japan’s culture and a range of unusual places to visit.
Your accommodation will be in 4 or 5 star hotels; a full breakfast is provided daily, and five special dinners are included, featuring a selection of Japanese cuisine.
