Itinerary:
Day 1: Tokyo
Upon arrival at New Tokyo International Airport, JTB staff will meet you at the custom’s exit and assist you in boarding airport bus. Transfer to hotel. Accommodation in Tokyo for 2 nights.
Day 2: Tokyo
Tokyo Morning city tour, visiting Tokyo Tower, Imperial Palace Plaza, Asakusa Kannon Temple and Nakamise Shopping Arcade and Tasaki Pearl Gallery. Afternoon free.
Day 3: Tokyo - Mt Fuji - Hakone
Travel by deluxe coach halfway up Japan's highest mountain, Mt Fuji, to enjoy a spectacular view from a height of 2,300 metres. Enjoy a Japanese-style lunch. In the afternoon, proceed to Hakone Ropeway, visit Owakudani Valley and then a ride on a pirate ship on Lake Ashi. Overnight at Hakone Hotel Kowaki-en.
Day 4: Hakone - Inuyama
Transfer to Odawara station and board the Shinkansen for Nagoya. Change to a local train for Inuyama. After lunch, visit Inuyama Castle and experience Kimono wearing. After dinner enjoy Cormorant Fishing. Overnight in Inuyama.
Day 5: Inuyama - Nagoya - Kyoto
Enjoy a Nihon Rhine River cruise, before travelling to Nagoya. After lunch, sighteeing in Nagoya before travelling to Kyoto. Accommodation in Kyoto for 3 nights.
Day 6: Kyoto - Nara - Kyoto
Morning sightseeing of Kyoto. including Nijo Castle, Golden Pavilion and Kyoto Imperial Palace. After lunch visit Nara and the Todaiji Temple with the Great Buddha. Feed the tame deer in Nara Park and marvel at the lanterns at Kasuga Shrine, before returning to Kyoto.
Day 7: Kyoto
Full day free to explore Kyoto.
Day 8: Kyoto - Kansai Airport
Free until departure. JTB staff will meet you at the hotel and assist you in boarding a mini van to Kansai Airport.
