Discover Hiroshima by stopping first with an intense visit to World Heritage Peace Memorial Museum, Peace Memorial Park and the ruins of former industrial promotion hall which remain just as it was, after atomic bomb hit in August 1945.It is a reminder of the nuclear tragedy and in 1996 became the World Heritage A-Bomb dome.

On your second day, explore by bus the recently listed UNESCO World Heritage Iwami Ginzan one of the most important silver mines for trade during the Edo period between the West and the rest of Asia.

After a Japanese style lunch at a local restaurant, visit one of the oldest and most famous Shinto shrine complex in the region. The Izumo-Taisha Shrine.

Next you will visit a former samurai residence from the Edo period and Matsue Castle, one of the few remaining castles in Japan to be preserved in their authentic wooden form.

Next visit the Adachi Museum of Art, renowned for its exclusive collection of Japanese modern paintings and the magnificent landscapes of Japanese gardens, before returning to Tokyo.

Itinerary:
Day 1: Tokyo - Hiroshima.
Leave Tokyo by Nozomi Shinkansen. After arrival in Hiroshima, visit the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Memorial Museum.
Accommodation in Hiroshima.
Day 2: Hiroshima - Iwami - Izumo - Matsue
Transfer to Iwami by coach. After arrival visit Iwami Silvermine, a world heritage site. In the afternoon visit Izumo Shinto Shrine.
Accommodation in Matsue.
Day 3: Matsue - Kyoto
Enjoy a morning tour of Matsue Castle, Former Samurai House. In the afternoon visit the Adachi Museum of Art, before returning to Tokyo.

Accommodation is not included in Tokyo upon your return.
