Itinerary: A city of contrasts, Tokyo is at once a historic city and a centre for futuristic architectural projects. If you appreciate contemporary architecture and new design, this Tokyo Modern Architecture Roppongi Walking Tour is for you.

From Hamamatsucho Bus Terminal, your guide will take you to the trendy Roppongi area of Tokyo where you will be able to visit Tokyo Midtown, a newly-opened (2007) high-tech mini-city complex.

The tour continues on to take in the sensational wavy structure of The National Art Center, designed by famous architect Kisho Kurokawa. Next to this cutting-edge edifice is the Roppongi Hills Complex, another amazing city-within-a-city for visitors to explore. Built in 2003, Roppongi Hills is one of the city's largest and most impressive redevelopment projects.

Finally, step back and take in the full grandeur of the modern metropolis from the Roppongi Hills Observatory, where you can enjoy a 360 degree panoramic view over Tokyo at a height of over 250m.
