Airport Transfers

After a long flight, make your arrival in Japan easy with JTB’s airport transfers. Japanese airports can be overwhelming if you don’t speak the local language. Check out the options below.

Arriving at Tokyo’s Narita Airport

Narita International Airport is approximately 60km from the heart of Tokyo. There are a several ways to traveling to Tokyo, by train, bus or car. The journey takes between 60 to 90 minutes. Each service arrives at a different part of the city, so please make sure of your final destination before you buy your ticket.

Train:
· Japan Rail (JR) East Narita Express: use your Japan Rail Pass.
· JR East Sobu Line Rapid Service: use your Japan Rail Pass.

Private Railways also operate trains from the airport. These lines are no available with a Japan Rail Pass.

Note: Japan Rail Passes must be purchased before you arrive in Japan.

Bus:
· Airport Limousine Bus Coupons  - Purchase your ticket from JTB prior to your departure.
Prices - Each Way
Adult: A$38.00, Child (Age 6 –11):  $23.00,
Children under 6 years travel free (but a seat cannot be guaranteed).

After customs and immigration proceed to the Airport Limousine Bus counter in the arrivals lobby. Exchange your coupon for a ticket on the next bus going to the area of Tokyo you require.

Arriving at Kansai Airport (for Osaka or Kyoto)

Travelling to Osaka
Haruka Airport Express Train. -  Use your Japan Railpass.

Travelling to Kyoto
Haruka Airport Express: use your Japan Rail Pass.
